Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Coordinating Manufacturing Engineering department activities which consist of defining the manufacturing processes including procuring equipment, tools, spare parts, fixtures, and other needed manufacturing resources.

• To procure equipment and tools which meet our corporate and customer Quality

• Create operation documentations, study and define cycle times and production targets.

• Provide training (Product and Process) to related persons (Production staff and Maintenance technicians.

• Plan & enhance mistake proofs, line balancing and material handling for the existing and new projects

• Help coordinating customer concerns with other departments. Responsible for timely response to customer

• Overall responsible for new equipment and manufacturing processes, for new launch period and post SOP production

• Create process documentation, Process Flow Chart, PFMEA (according to latest version of guideline), Process Instructions.

• Follow PFMEA high risk table and provide immediate improvements to manufacturing process steps with the highest severity, frequent occurrence of failure and pure detection of failure

• Support production team, quality team to do the process failure analysis and product diagnosis, support maintenance team to do the machine diagnosis

• Study and improve of process flow to ensure utilization of manpower, machine and equipment as optimized

• Continuously improve manufacturing processes at the plant by designing of new tool/ fixture / gages as well as new machines build according to lean manufacturing, safety and ergonomics roles

• Innovation - Search for new techniques and method to make process stable, safe and fast running.

• Ensure stability of running processes based on SPC and MSA guideline.

• Perform qualification of new equipment/machine in the launch phase.

• Perform process/product training for operators, maintenances and quality staff as well

• Participate in new product launching by giving support to entire new project management team, including VAVE projects and post SOP and change projects. 

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering.

• Minimum 4 year-experiences in a manufacturing environment preferably in automotive component machining and/or assembly process quality control.

• Experience in automotive assembly processes is preferred.

• Knowledgeable in quality standards (IATF 16949:2016 & ISO14001)

• Experience in designing fixtures using ACAD, CATIA or similar and PLC.

• Must have strong problem-solving skills, analytical skills and decision-making skills and report writing skills.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player, with strong written and oral communication skills.

• Good command in English.
