Purchased additional baggage and the flight was canceled due to covid. When they rebooked us they didn’t carry over the extra baggage. They wanted to charge 3x the original ticket price for “added” weight… 6000 bhat for an additional 15kilo (which would of been easily covered by what we originally booked) took nearly 2 hours to work out and they only let us check in minutes before our flight boarded. Very unhappy.

They wouldn't allow you to use them even in airplane mode for some reason, despite most other airlines worldwide allowing airplane mode throughout the entire flight."

When I booked, I must have put the ticket under Susie instead of Susanne and despite showing her my passport she said I was going to be charged 800 baht to fix my name. It took two separate supervisors for them to realize that the passport number I booked with was in fact the same passport number I was presenting to them. I also wanted to check a piece of luggage and had to go to a different counter, waiting on another line to pay for the luggage. Not one person explained that upon landing in Bangkok for my layover that I would need to take my luggage off of the carousel and then repeat the process I did at the Chiang Mai Airport. It baffles me that they have no organization because prior to getting up to the counter, 4 people were clearly unhappy with the customer service. I would not recommend this airline company to anyone, in fact I would advise that people wouldn’t use it."

Then once we get into a building we have to walk up a flight of stairs with our suit cases. I was traveling with my 72 year old mother. Not impressed. It's one thing to delay flights it's another to make your passengers go through hoops to get to their destination."

The personal entertainment console worked perfectly with clear picture and sound, though the free headphones were uncomfortable. Boarding crew allowed us to cut in line since we had a 2 year old. Very appreciative for that, and appreciative for their sternness with those customers who were trying to slip in in front of us."

I think this was the most disappointing because the language barrier was frustrating when needing help going the right direction and having questions about checking in. The food was OK. The fruit tasted rotten and the food didn't seem as fresh either. The customer service was also mediocre. When I was on ANA airlines all the staff were very helpful and they seemed statisfied with their jobs. When I travel to ASIA again I will try and avoid Vietnam airlines."

I did purchase extra weight when purchasing the ticket however that weight MUST be in checked bags only. No margin here for discussion. Perhaps HotSeat passengers are less scrutinized??? This all may be just some transitional pains here and other airlines may follow the same model but in my 200+ flights on Nok Air this has NEVER happened. In fact, they (Nok) have NEVER weighed my carry on bag. Such a shame as the rest of the flight experience was above average. This hardline approach will be an issue if they continue until they beat their customers into taking or leaving it in my opinion. First AirAsia flight for me so the vets reading this will be smiling quietly to themselves ;-)"

Somehow our orders were lost and we got the 'default' meal on all flights which was sweet and sour chicken meatballs which was almost as awful as it sounds. We heard the same thing happen to the lady in the seat behind us. Staff pretty much ignored our complaint. There's also a weird process with check in where you get processed into a small lounge Pre flight with no food or shops, there doesn't appear to be a reason for this other than making you sit somewhere cramped and uncomfortable for an hour before your 9 hour flight."

I after about an hour lining up to get a replacement ticket for the next flight (which took unnecessarily long considering they knew this was happening hours in advance), we went to the airport hotel which I would have booked if they had not lied to me to find that it was booked out."

I take budget flights 2-3 times a year and this is the worst experience I've had with budget carriers (including the European budget carriers with dirt cheap fares and sometimes non-existence customer service)."

Probably the worst was the air crew refusing to give a blanket to my freezing fiance without purchasing the pillow, blanket and eye mask bundle. Seriously?? Then towards the end of the flight, the crew walk the aisles holding alcohol and perfume trying to peddle their duty-free products on the plane itself. It was quite evident by this point that the competitve ticket price is a hoax, and all that they are interested in is getting as much money from you as possible. Unless I have no choice, I will never fly this airline again. Please, warn people of these practices BEFORE they purchase the tickets!!"

References between SCOOT and KRISFLYER membership not seamless. Checking in was a challenge.

I’m arrange at Zone 2 seat.Staff ask to queue up from zone 1 to zone 3 but just allow zone 1 and 3 go in first.Then what is the point to ask zone 2 to queue up at the first and wait for zone 1 ?

Uncomfortable seats and lgroom

The aircraft, departure & arrival times, flight attendants were excellent. What could have been better: a bit more amenities: blanket, USB power ports, etc.

Flight was okay. 1 piece of Luggage is still missing.

ข้อดี: "There is nothing to say this is a no frills airline and that is what you get. Departure was on time and arrival was also on time. Food on any airline isn’t good at least on airline i fly. The important thing is getting there safely and this airline company does that."

ข้อดี: "Overall okay. Food was not in our list because the flight is about one and a half hour. No entertainment as it was a short one and we departed earlier than the estimated time."

ข้อดี: "The Staff were friendly and efficient, considering the flight time being very short. The Flight Crew got us to our destination 10 mins ahead of schedule, considering also that we were 15 mins behind sitting on the runway for take off, which in effect meant they made up 25 mins. Fantastic job. The Aircraft was clean and well maintained. The seats were comfortable in economy for me, but unfortunately my Husband being a larger tall man was cramped and didn’t have a lot of room to move."

A very light passenger load. The pricing was a little high for the snacks and tiny bottles of water."

ข้อเสีย: "I get that it’s a budget flight, so no frills. I wasn’t expecting bottled water but at least offer some water in a cup. The water bottles being sold was expensive and too small. They encourage us to stay hydrated but not everybody can keep shelling out money for water, and strictly no outside food or drinks. Can they at least allow us to bring water, short flights not so much a problem but long flights, not so good for that strict rule."

ข้อเสีย: "There was absolutely no complimentary service at all, a bit unusual compared to flights we've taken in the past (domestic and international). No offer of free water, what's up with that?!?! There was no entertainment on board for an overnight flight, no blanket, no pillow. And on top of that we paid too much to check in a bag when we arrived at the airline desk because we didn't include it through our Kayak booking. Had we known there was a method to follow, we would have to avoid the excessive fee."

ข้อเสีย: "This was a return flight I was taking. But even though I paid for a bag when booking, Kayak only booked the bag on the flight over. It there for cost me $48 to book the bag on at the airport one way back. For some reason when I was paying they could not take for the full amount on my CC and so I had to go change money as $8 had to be paid cash (very strange). The flight was very uncomfortable. I could go into detail but now I’m just ranting. Not happy. Won’t be doing that again."

ข้อเสีย: "I get the seat selection pre-check in is a premium service. Bu to not allow someone to express preference (based on what's left) when they check in is downright snarky. The explanation that I got that "we need to balance the plane" is whitewash. It's clearly to push peopel to buying the premium service. But when you do that at the price of alienating people, you've done them and yourself a disservice. Time to rethink!"

ข้อดี: "Scoot Business is excellent value for money. 35 seats at the front of a Dreamliner with comfortable seats and some recline. The flight took off on time and landed in Sydney on time. I will go again."

ข้อดี: "All in all a pretty good flight. Nothing much to write home about but nothing really went wrong. Pretty Good and what you'd expect."

ข้อเสีย: "Wasn't thrilled that I had to pay SGD48 both ways for up to 15kg check in. That extra SGD96 would have made a difference when comparing flights on Kayak. Delays leaving HK and SG but all of it was on the tarmac so not really Scoots fault."

ข้อเสีย: "It just does not make any sense to me that I would need to leave the airport, collect my piece of luggage, to then go back on the boarding pass/baggage kiosk, to then get on a larger line to drop off my luggage to then go to another desk where I needed to take a number to pay for my suitcase. I’ve traveled all over the world and have never experienced anything like this before."

Check-infamily with just computers is terrible, didn't worked properly. Included food in package but can't choose, both legs the same food. Baggage damaged. Long walk in DMK to transfer, inefficient. Overall just a shitty experience!"

ข้อดี: "The price was cheap and with the value deal you get 20kg can choose a seat and get a small sandwich and water that's alright. Boarding was fast."

ข้อเสีย: "It was quite bumpy throughout both flight were I was wondering why it was perfect weather. Both my flights were delayed You have to pay for everything wondering why I don't have to pay for the toilet. =)"

ข้อดี: "We weren't able to pre-book baggage on a third party site, and the direct AirAsia site was crashing the day we had to book. The baggage cost more than the flight. Never again."

ข้อเสีย: "They charged us for a checked bag and it is on a sliding weight scale. If you check your bag be prepared to pay more if it is over 15kilograms. Also, there is no complimentary beverage service. Snacks and drinks are available for a fee. The seats are pretty small. If you have longer legs expect them to hit the tray table even when it's in its full upright position."

That this flight offers no beverage or food without payment is disappointing."

ข้อเสีย: "Flight id designed for people who travel super light. Tourist who do not read reviews are taken by surprise at the last moment (at the registration desk) and have no choice but to buy the second ticket for their luggage. The web site does not fully disclose luggage policy. No leg room"

ข้อเสีย: "There were many additional charges for luggages. The most annoying thing for me is their seat assignments. For couples who bought tickets together, seats were assigned at different locations even though the flights were not full. This happened on all four flight segments for us. And it was not just to us. It happened to many other people on our flights. When I asked at the check-in counter at Singapore airport to change the seat assignments, the agent lied to me that there are no other seats available. In reality, there were many empty seats on all our flight segments."

ข้อเสีย: "Caution if you wait to pay for luggage at the terminal, you willget robbed. A 22kg extra bag cost $280 USD . More than the cost of 3 passengers to fly from Bangkok to Pucket"

ข้อเสีย: "Absolutely no leg room. I'm 5'9 so I know I'm tall, but I manage on normal flights perfectly fine. The seats lean forward so in the upright position you feel as if you are falling forward. Terrible comfort but it was only an hour flight so I survived. Anything longer than the hour from Phuket to Phi Phi, I would never fly this airline. Like I said, you get what you pay for."
